Piping Trades Foundation Apprenticeship Program

Get a head-start on technical training for an apprenticeship program while still in secondary school. Students in Grades 11 and 12 can gain apprenticeship skills in plumbing, pipefitting, and sprinkler fitting while receiving secondary school credits towards graduation.

In partnership with Kwantlen Polytechnic University, the Squamish Nation Trades Centre, and the Industry Training Authority's Accelerated Credit Enrolment in Industry Training (ACE IT) Program, the North Vancouver School District is proud to offer a new career education program, Piping Trades Foundation.

As part of the ACE-IT Program, students earn hours toward Level 1 certification in three trades:
  • Plumbing
  • Pipefitting
  • Sprinkler fitting
