Bike Camp Instructor
  • Pedalheads Bike Camps is a 10 level bike safety and skills camp.  You will teach children aged 2-12 to ride their bikes safely and skillfully. It’s a great job for those who love working with children or who are looking to gain leadership experience.
  • You must be turning 17 by December 31st of this year.
  • There's no need to be an expert biker!
  • You will get a paid training session before the start of camp.
  • Shifts range from 2.75 - 7 hours/day. Wage ranges from $10.25 - $13.00

Volunteers:
  • You will need to be 13 or older!
  • Teach kids how to ride a bike, go on rides with more advanced classes and help organize and manage activities and equipment

10th Annual Mid-Winter Arts Festival
February 19th - 22nd, 2015

WINTERRUPTION is a 3-day event featuring live music, visual art, theatre, dance, film and delicious food!
 
This is a great opportunity who are interested in Hospitality, Tourism, Performing Arts, Entertainment, Event Management
 
or
those who simply are looking to complete volunteer requiremenets.
 
Volunteers are needed for the following positions:
  • Information Ambassador
  • Greeter
  • Parade
  • Green Room Attendant
  • Visitor Counters
  • Workshop
  • Face Painting
  • Face Painter Apprentice
  • Front of House Assistant
  •  
You may choose any of the following shifts:
Feb 21:  10am-2:30pm, 1:30pm-5:30pm, 5:30pm-8:30pm
Feb 22:  10am-2:30pm, 1:30pm-5:30pm, 4:00-8:00pm
Feb 20 (production shift, information officer, front of house assistant)
 
Lunch is offered to volunteers who work more than one shift in a day.
 
Volunteers are required a minimum of 4 hours commitment and attend a one hour orientation on Feb 12th 6:00pm
