Register now for one week in Ottawa

Encounters with Canada is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Canadian teens to meet young people from across the country. Spend a week in your nation’s capital. Take part in exciting adventures, explore future career options, learn more about your country, share your hopes and dreams – all through exclusive hands-on workshops, presentations and excursions. EWC has been offering rich and diverse programs for 32 years. Over 96,000 youth have already lived the “EWC Experience.”

 

Price $675 (includes "everything" for this one-week trip to Ottawa

Special promotion for early fall sessions:

Arts & Culture:                 Sept. 7-13, 2014
Sports & Fitness:             Sept.14-20, 2014
Ecology & Environment: Sept. 21-27, 2014
 
Students interested in attending one of the three sessions listed above need only pay $575 (instead of the usual $675).Register soon to try to get one of the available spots. 

Student criteria:
  • Between ages 14 and 17 (when they participate)
  • Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents (Landed Immigrants)
  • Approved by school

Camp Ignite Mentorship Program (for Grades 11 - 12 Girls)

The North Vancouver City Fire Dept will be sponsoring one girl from North Vancouver to attend the Camp

Camp Ignite Mentorship Program was designed by Metro Vancouver female fire fighters specifically for girls. 

Camp Ignite is a four-day camp that educates and inspires young women through fire fighting activities designed to encourage teamwork, courage commitment, strength of character and health and fitness.  It will help girls realize a future of limitless opportunities and that regardless of gender, anything is possible.


Camp will run from August 7-10, 2014 in the Vancouver Area
Students must grades 11-16 (ages 16-18)
Submit Application Forms by June 9, 2014
