Food & Sustainable Schools - A Youth Leadership Clinic
When? 9:00 - 4:30pm Saturday, November 5th, 2011
Where? King Edward SkyTrain Station (Canada Line) (bus will depart at 9:00 a.m. sharp!)
What? Be inspired to take action. Share your ideas and success stories. Participate in this unique and collaborative day of learning.
  • discover where our food comes from and how school gardens can impact schools
  • explore an inner city farm and the Magee Secondary School Garden
  • eat at the Winter Farmer's Market
  • exchange inspiring garden and food campaign success stories
  • explore tools, strategies and ideas for action
  • create collaborative action plans
