Cathing the Spirit - Outdoor Experience for Youth

Catching the Spirit (CTS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to developing leadership and social responsibility in youth through environmental awareness and stewardship, outdoor recreation and youth ownership. 

Join their programs:
1.  Spirit Ranger Program
2.  Spirit Steward Program

Spirit Ranger Program
An afternoon program for youth who wants to experience all that parks have to offer, challenge their creativity and learn new outdoor skills.  A great chance to take the lead with a support team alongside
you! 

When and Where: Runs from July 2nd to August 15th
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday afternoons 1-4pm (Sign up for a day, a week or more!)
Tuesdays and Wednesdays:  Burnaby Lake (4519 Piper Ave, Burnaby)
Thursdays: BCIT Campus (4399 Wayburne Dr, Burnaby)
Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays:  Pacific Spirit (4915 W. 16th Ave Vancouver) 

Spirit Steward Program
A 3-day program for youth who want longer CTS engagement and an overnight camping experience

When and Where: 
8 weekends throughout the summer
5pm Friday to 12 noon on Sunday (check out their calendar for summer dates - http://www.catchingthespirit.com/calendar)
at Burnaby Lake, Capillano River, Pacific Spirit and Tynehead regional parks.
