Junior Acheivement Business Program for Youth

Junior Achievement of BC has a great opportunity for  grade 10,11 & 12 students to learn about business!

JABC is inviting students to participate in JA Company Program.  Running in the  evenings from mid-January to mid-May and offered for the first time at the Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre, this program is the ultimate training ground for young entrepreneurs.

Company Program shows students what is really involved in creating and running a business. From developing marketing campaigns to deciding how to distribute dividends, your students will have the opportunity to try it all.  The program is sponsored by Junior Achievement and will be facilitated by a team of volunteer business people who are screened and coordinated by JA staff.

This program is an ideal supplement for students currently taking and/or interested in Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Accounting, Economics, or General Business, and for those who want to enhance their Graduation Transition Plan/Portfolio or work experience hours.

The program begins January 12.  It is free of charge to participate, but interested students must register through Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre.   We can only accept 16 students into this first program at the Centre, so early registration is advised.
