Work experience includes hands-on work experience (business, government, self-employed, non-profit or volunteer organization), job shadowing a worker, career mentoring with a worker, career simulation activities for occupations where hands-on work experience is not available (such as the Fire Fighters Career Day).

CityFest 2012 - May 5th, 12 to 4pm
The youth of North Vancouver will present CityFest 2012 on Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 12pm to 4pm. CityFest 2012 will take place in the parking lot and skate park at Centennial Theatre. The event includes a skateboard competition, a youth art display, dance and drama performances, a live band showcase, a free photo booth and a free barbeque with food give-aways.

Artists For KIDS Summer volunter position
AFK Work experience program designed for students with an interest in the visual arts.
Art Assistant
July 8 to the 13 and July 15 to 20.
This is a one week residential stint at outdoor school.
Learn how to prep for a variety of mediums, learn how to handle equipment in a safe and correct manner, assist the teacher in supporting the students at the camp, AND participate in some of the recreational activities offered to the students.
All room and board will be provided!!!

Camp Ignite
Camp Ignite is a four-day camp to educate and inspire young women to follow their dreams.
The camp is open to girls in grades 10-12 (ages 15-18),
Each girl will learn about fitness, nutrition, health and teamwork and get an introduction to the world of firefighting.
