Can you imagine doing WORK EXPERIENCE at the VANCOUVER OPERA???
Vancouver Opera is accepting applications on an ongoing basis for the 2013-
2014 Work Experience program. ( see link to application below)
This
immersive experience provides students the opportunity to meet and work
alongside professional artists and administrators throughout the final stages of
producing a show for the main stage.
The
objective of the program is to introduce students to the collaborative work
environment and professional approach required in the performing arts as well as
a beginning experience with project management in the arts.The program
culminates with the students attending the final dress rehearsal in advance of
opening night.
There are four 2 -3 week sessions (depending on production schedules)
available to Grade 11 and 12 students from the Metro Vancouver area:
Tosca: October 7 - 23,

Don Giovanni: February 17 - 27, 2014
Don Carlo: April 17 - May 1, 2014
