JOIN NSCR’s charity gift wrap booth at Capilano Mall

 

 

NSCR is still looking for volunteers.  Here are the available shifts:

Dec 12 (Thu)- 3:30-6:30 pm

Dec 16 (Mon) - 3:00-6:15 pm
Dec 21 (Sat) - 12:15-3.15 pm
Dec 22 (Sun) - 9:30 am-12:30 am
Dec 23 (Sun) - 6:00 pm-9:15 pm
Dec 24 (Tue) - 9:30 am-12:30 pm
                        12:15-3:15 pm
                         3:00-5:15 pm

There is a training session on Dec 11th, Wednesday at 4:30 pm. It will be in the storefront next to Advanced Travel across from Virgin Mobile.

Requirements

• Volunteers are required to attend one of its gift wrapping/training sessions (Nov 27-30^th)
• should be committed to attend the shifts assigned

It's a full day of live broadcast, great entertainment, exciting activities and heartfelt generosity.  Meet on air-personalities, tour the building and help you local food bank by making a donation.  Plus a very special Canada Lives Here movie experience and tours of CBC Canada House.

Seasonal Snow School Volunteer Opportunities

Mt. Seymour requires volunteers to assist their professional instructors with lesson programs for skiers and snowboarders ages 4-6. 

Program operates on
-mornings and afternoon during weekends
-daily during the Christmas and Spring Break periods
-evenings on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from Jan 13 to Mar 10.


Qualifications:

• minimum 15 yeas old (14 with letter from parent or guardian)
• intermediate skiing or snowboarding abilities
• must have ski/snowboard equipment
• must enjoy working with 4-6 year old children
• friendly
