We offer all Metro Vancouver students in Grades 11 and 12 the
opportunity to gain valuable volunteer work experience at Science World.
The placements are two full weeks (80 hours), and are aligned with the
school-year calendar.
Work-term hours are 8:30am–5:30pm Monday through Friday and 9:15am–6:15pm on weekends and breaks.
Teachers are invited to sign up those students they feel would most/best benefit from a placement at Science World.

Scheduling
There are many two-week (80 hours) placement periods throughout the year, the first of which begins in September, following the school-year calendar. We can accommodate a maximum of 12 students during each placement period. All placements begin on the Saturday and continue until the third following Sunday. Days off are staggered so that there are five or six students in the building on any given day, including weekends and holidays.Hours are 8:30am–5:30pm Monday–Friday and 9:15am–6:15pm weekends and holidays.
