ALL students in the province of BC must complete a minimum of 30 hours VOLUNTEER, WORK EXPERIENCE or PAID EMPLOYMENT to Graduate. Work experience includes hands-on work experience (business, government, self-employed, non-profit or volunteer organization), job shadowing a worker, career mentoring with a worker, career simulation activities for occupations where hands-on work experience is not available (such as the Fire Fighters Career Day).

PedalHeads Bike Camps need employees and volunteers for summer camps
PEDALHEADS
What are we all about? Pedalheads is an 8 level instructional bike safety and skills summer camp for kids aged 2-12. From training wheels to trails, each level includes five learning categories: safety knowledge, safety skills, trail riding, street riding, and bike maintenance. We need cycling instructors to teach small groups of children bike safety and skills. We are looking for people who are fun, creative, dynamic and above all, responsible.

What if I’m not turning 17 this year? Volunteer with Pedalheads! By joining our volunteer team, you get the opportunity to work with an experienced instructor and learn how to put your skills to work! It is an awesome learning experience and lots of fun! On top of all that you get volunteer hours, a reference letter and the possibility of employment later on! Volunteers only need to commit for one week of the summer!
