Rogers Hometown Hockey arrives at The Shipyards on March 14 and 15, with an exciting weekend of FREE hockey-related activities including NHL Alumni appearances, music, and fun for the whole family! Save the date and join us at The Shipyards.
Join Ron MacLean and Tara Slone LIVE at The Shipyards, March 15 at 4:30 p.m. for the broadcast as they tell stories that celebrate the history and culture that put our community on Canada's hockey map. Everyone’s invited to watch the Vancouver Canucks take on the Winnipeg Jets on the big screen.

Saturday, March 14: 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Sunday, March 15: 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Volunteer Information
Rogers Hometown Hockey and the City of North Vancouver are looking for outgoing, energetic volunteers to support our upcoming two day festival.
Volunteers must be available for both March 14 and 15, 2020 covering either a morning (11:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.) or afternoon (2:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m.) shift. Roles will require energetically engaging with the public for a variety of activities including a ball hockey rink, community zone, games, and more. Volunteers can expect light to moderate physical activity during their shifts.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age with some roles limited to 18 years and older.

Paint the Town Red - help us Paint the Town Red to welcome our Hometown Hockey guests and celebrate our passion for hockey. City of North Vancouver businesses are invited to take part in a contest to decorate your business or store front in a hockey and/or red theme. Win a behind-the-scenes VIP package!
Photo Contest - Post your best hockey photo from today or yesterday on social media using the tags #TheShipyards, #hometownhockey and tag@CityofNorthVan. Post your photo by Monday, March 9 and you will be entered to win a prize.
Jersey Day - Wear any jersey on Friday, March 14 and share your photos on social media using the hashtags and tags listed above.
Parade of Champions - Calling all sports teams! Take part in the Rogers Hometown Hockey Parade of Champions on March 15 at 4:00 pm. Wear your jerseys and bring your team banner. Any and every team is welcome! Register your team at: TheShipyards@cnv.org
ALL students in the province of BC must complete a minimum of 30 hours VOLUNTEER, WORK EXPERIENCE or PAID EMPLOYMENT to Graduate. Work experience includes hands-on work experience (business, government, self-employed, non-profit or volunteer organization), job shadowing a worker, career mentoring with a worker, career simulation activities for occupations where hands-on work experience is not available (such as the Fire Fighters Career Day).
