Marine Educator Aqua Camp - 80 full time & 25 part time students
Summer Interpretative Delivery - 40 students
Marine Educator Wet Lab - 12 students
For Youth interested in
volunteering this Summer:
Step 1: Review requirements of our Youth Work Experience Program and
ensure you are eligible to volunteer
Step 2: Check all available work experience positions this summer for
youth (click
on the ‘our opportunities’ link in Step #2 or view the attached PDF) to
see if something catches your interest and availability.
Step 3: Ensure you can attend
our volunteer training dates, as well as all the dates of the placement you are
most interested in. (Please note you must attend 1 core training
session before beginning your placement).
Core training Dates:
Option 1: Sunday June 14th from 10am to
4pmOption 2: Sunday, June 28th from 10am to 4pm
Option 3: Sunday, July 19th from 10am to 4pm
Option 4: Sunday, July 26th from 10am to 4pm
Option 5: Sunday, August 9th from 10am to 4pm
Step 4: Sign up (using the link in this step and by scrolling down
to the bottom of the webpage) for one of our Information Sessions on either
Thursday, May 21, 2015 or Monday, May 25, 2015 from 5:30pm – 8:30pm. Please note
that doors open at 5:15 pm for a prompt 5:30pm start.
If you are previous work
experience student and have already completed a placement with us during
2014/2015 you do not need to attend an information session. Please simply email
workexperience@vanaqua.org to
inquire further about roles available.
