Work Experience Opportunity
For Students
(age 16 to 18)
Lynn Valley Care Centre needs High School Students to volunteer
throughout the school year.
Students
should be interested in helping and working with elderly Residents through
visits, doing simple activities or games, doing “Tea Times”, giving mealtime
assistance or assist the elderly Residents in various ways or provide
“Security” for those in the facility.

Since the processing of the Criminal
Record Check takes several weeks, students who are interested in our volunteer
program need to be encouraged to get that done promptly. Interview appointments
for volunteering at Lynn Valley Care Centre are not made until after the
student has received the Criminal Record Check Report back from the police, at
which time the student then calls me to set up that appointment.
