The Friends fo the North Vancouver Museum and Archives Society is seeking a detail-oriented individual with an interest in scanning, photography and history to work at the North Vancouver Musuem and Archives for an 8 week-temporary position
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for scanning pages from World War 1 diaries, photo albums and drawings
- Will learn to describe and save scans according to the best archival practice
- Some touch up work and resizing of images with Photoshop may be required
Qualifications:
- Grade 11 & 12 students (ages 15 and up)
- Should be reliable, work well with others and have a high degree of computer literacy
- Ability to follow directions, good attention to detail
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills
